Heidi Winkler, M.D., "board certified" by the American Board of Paediatrics, is coming back to serve Norwalk, Downey, Santa Fe Springs, Whittier, Cerritos, Artesia, La Habra and L . A . county on June 1st!
Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Winkler has over 32 years of working experience helping the (mostly) low income hispanic people that are mainly on Medi-Cal.
This clinic is useful because people on Medi-Cal have relatively limited choices in which they can see. Not all health professionals accept Medi-Cal. And, once they see the doctor, often the child will be seen by a "Physician's Assistant" hired by the doctor to perform the medical examinations. Often the affected person never even sees the doctor.
