Testosterone, a hormone known mainly for its sexual contributions to a man's body, is not just a sex hormone. True, its major functions are the development of sexual characteristics in men, but research has proven that it is responsible for more than 400 functions in the body. It is the hormone that gives men their aggressiveness and also influences their mood levels. Thus low testosterone in men can result into depression and finally suicide.

Some of the effects of low testosterone include lack of energy and fatigue, low libido and erectile dysfunction, mood swings, loss of lean muscle and increased body fat and weight, plus depression among others. There has to be at least 45 to 50 minutes practice daily, as exercise helps in releasing the testosterone in the proteins which helps in boosting testosterone levels automatically.

After you exercise you should get some rest. Rest and minimal stress are almost as important as getting proper exercise. Stress can lower both your testosterone and growth hormone levels drastically. To reduce stress, start and end your day with some deep breathing exercises. After that you need to worry about your diet.
